Fourth Step: Notification of Decision


You will receive notifications (by email or regular mail depending on the choice you made) of the Board's decision within six weeks of the hearing date.

CanLII is a non-profit organization created and funded by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2001 and is a member of the Free Access to Law Movement, which includes the primary stakeholders involved in free, open publication of law throughout the world.

Disagreement with the Board's Decision

You have the right to apply to the Court of Queen’s Bench for judicial review of the Assessment Review Board (ARB) decision. Judicial reviews of the Board’s decisions are governed by section 470 of the Municipal Government Act. The City also has the right to apply for judicial review of the decision.
